PRP and hair-related issues
Dr. Albert Einstein was famous for what he accomplished. As time passed, his hair became famous too. For PRP patients, however, hair can be a source of great despair and frustration. Some of us loose our hair and cross our fingers and hope it will return as it was. Some of us buy wigs. Others will shave what remains and “re-boot”. NO HAIR — DON’T CARE
Loss of hair can have a negative impact on the quality of life of any PRP patient. For some, however, the challenge of hair loss can become a catalyst for something positive. Helen G (Mays Landing, New Jersey) became a “No Hair” advocate. As a teacher in a school with a dress code she simply asked her “boss” if she could wear a hat or anything that made her feel comfortable. School administration said “Yes” to her request.
