I am not kidding when I say that skin flakes do not obey the laws of standard physics. They are quantum particles that randomly wink in and out of existence, especially wherever I’ve just swept or vacuumed. They also have unusual electrostatic effects. If I wipe down the stairs, they creep up the wall and cling to the sides.
