STELARA®

Janssen, manufacturer of Stelara® (ustekinumab), has a program offering medication assistance programs available for STELARA®. While this program was developed to assist patients diagnosed with psoriasis and Crohn’s Disease, patients diagnosed with PRP can qualify for a Copay Savings Card with ONE important caveat:

Since Stelara is OFF-LABEL (not approved by FDA for PRP) the PRP patient’s dermatologist must secure PRIOR AUTHORIZATION from the insurance provider. That’s the roadblock.

With PRIOR AUTHORIZATION for an off-label drug, a PRP patient is responsible tor a $5 copay, the insurance provider covers whatever they cover, and Janssen Prescription Assistance covers the balance. DETAILS
