What are the issues related to PRP and clothing?

04.06.00  clothing, sauna suits
04.06.01  Washing triamcinolone ointment and other crud out of clothing
If you are throwing ointment-stained clothing away, think again. Judy M (hubby Troy is the PRPer in the family) has a recipe for getting that ointment out and extending the life of clothing. Literally a “simple” solution.
Start with a five-gallon bucket of boiling water — enough to cover the soiled clothing. Add a cup of Simple Green®, a non–toxic cleaner and degreaser. “Stir with a stick.” To the untrained observer it seems that the boiling water actually melts the ointment and allows the Simple Green to simply work it’s magic. Remove the pre-washed clothing and wring dry. Then it is off to the washing machine for TWO complete wash/dry cycles. Simple Green® is sold at Walmart, Target, etc.
